Aaron’s Gate Country Getaways is naturally decorated for Fall! A stay at Aaron’s Gate includes the smell of fresh rain and wet leaves, bunnies munching on dew covered grass, the sparkle of sunset through the trees and the twinkle of hundreds of stars above.
We are doing our famous Pumpkin Pancakes with the “To die for” Vanilla Butter Sauce and fabulous Breakfast Potato Stack top with Brown Sugar Bacon. Oh, Yeh!
Lots of fun things to do around too, the Oklahoma State Fair, Music in Guthrie, Rodeo at Lazy E Arena or just have a blast together, chilling out in your private honeymoon cottage!
Enjoy the full moon September 9th, October 8th, November 6th for a beautiful evening dip in your hot tub!
Don’t forget Fall Break and Pastor Appreciation month in October!
See you soon…

Twenty Fourteen has proven to be a delightful year to be out in the country. Overnight rains have greened up the woods. The fires nearby have driven the wildlife over near the cottages. Many bunnies are hopping around, even found a nest of baby bunnies under a tree! We have a deer that has been around alot but don’t try to take his picture, we call him “Colonel Flagg” because he is so good at disappearing. We are excited to have so many out of state guests with us this year. Yet it is so much fun to be great hide-away for you locals too. Check-out our new website for great ideas for your next “getaway”! www.AaronsGate.com
It’s a great time to grab your favorite cold drink (a Route 44 Vanilla Dr. Pepper) and head out to the trees. The Cicadas are singing loud and clear as the night falls. Then the frogs from the pond join them. Clear skies twinkle with stars! All the things you don’t get hanging out at Target.
Bring along some charcoal, (we are not red-flagged this year!) and grill some steaks, corn on the cob, maybe a few shrimp. Dip up some Ice Cream. (Secret…you could start early on that Vanilla Butter Sauce in the fridge…it’s great on ice cream too! Just be sure to leave some for breakfast!)
